2010 already?

Per Suann’s recommendation, I checked out the 2010 Laurel Denise planner. I couldn’t find many pictures online but got the jist of what it looked like inside from the back page on Amazon.

I finally purchased it at Overstock for $12 plus s/h. It came within 3 business days and tore the package open ASAP! I love how the planner has a large monthly view as well as a weekly view with plenty of space for notes and lists. Sometimes, an electronic planner just doesn’t cut it… especially when you want to know dates in advance or need to remember when your last dentist appointment was.

 

Can’t wait to get my 2010 appointments/birthdays added! I only wish I could start using it now! I’m a bit of a geek so I like to use a color-coded system for specific reminders! :)

the Container Store

I can walk around this store for hours and hours. I don't need to buy anything but just like walking around and soaking in all the organization. kekeke... Oprah's offering another discount at the Container Store.

enough already...

It's March... where did 1/6 of this year go?? I know... I need to get blogging... but I've been sort of going through this mid-life crisis, business style. :) With the state of the economy and feeling very un-motivated creatively, I've been a bit in the dumps... But I'm out of my little pit and hope to be back in the swing of things shortly... in the meantime, I'll leave you with my March calendar. I really do hope that Spring is right around the corner!

A good friend asked me to design a simple logo for a new jewelry/accessory brand a few months ago and voila! Here it is in full production, ready to be sold. It's weird to see it in mass quantities...  [I like how it says LEAD FREE!]

etsy

yippee skippee! I had my first buyer on etsy over the weekend. If you don't know what etsy is, it's a little like ebay stores only they sell handmade goods from various sellers. You can find things like baby bibs to purses to clothing and of course, paper goods. :)

I have a very limited supply on my goods... but I'm hoping to update a lot more frequently! So feel free to stop by!

lately...

I'm not feeling so on top of things... I can't believe May is nearly over. Where did the year already go? I'm behind on some deadlines and my brain is a bit scattered. I think it's because I wish I was in NYC for the annual national stationery show. I don't care what I have to do, I'm going next year - at the very least to peruse what else is out there! I'm reading other bloggers share about their experience and I'm green with envy!

I realized that I don't post my little creations. In the big pool of designers, I know I'm bottom rung... but it's so nice to be visually inspired by their work! So I'll try to post my 'goods' up here more often!

no greeting card is complete without a return address...

so you can add some personalized address labels to your order. they come in the following shapes/sizes - i'll have to post pictures of the other sizes later on. they are self-adhesive and will match your customized greeting cards.

more wine tags please...

my cousin saw my blog and asked me to create some tags for her company's holiday party. i was a bit nervous because i had to turn these around in 72 hours and it was for a corporate setting...  but she/they loved them!

there was a bit of a problem with the shipping... it got stuck in the snowstorm we had a few weeks ago. but they got it on the day of the party! thank goodness. next time, i'll just overnight it... and i'll have to reconsider ups... maybe fedex is the way to go?

busy...

as a bee...

the orders piled in... and one by one, they were checked off and completed. :) one night, i was up pretty late and just smiled. because i t h-o-r-o-u-g-h-l-y enjoyed every minute of the last few weeks. as tiring as they were, it was a lot of fun crafting, creating, and designing...

i realized i didn't take a lot of pictures as i should have. :( i still have the files on my computer but there's something about seeing them live...
