I have had the weirdest appetite lately... I am just not craving anything, which is weird because I always want some sort of meat. The other night, I went pretty light on dinner.
miso soup + edamame + a cutie. Colors worked well and I'd say it was a fairly balanced meal, er snack. I think I had PB&J a few hours later! (I don't know why but I like seeing before and after photos)
Then a few days ago, I woke up STAR-VING. I laid in bed and tried to remember what I had in my pantry and fridge. I jumped out of bed and concocted this feast. Needless to say, I wasn't hungry for the next 6 hours, which is quite rare!
instant grits + thick bacon, mini waffles + bananas, egg whites + a honey mandarin orange. There's no after photo because I was too full to shoot it and let's face it, all that was left was the orange seeds.
I'm realizing I should try to cook more. Key phrase is try... I do have a lot of recipes saved off, it's just not always fun cooking for one!
